Bombardier Global 7500 Business Jet Enters Service
Bombardier has marked the entry-into-service of its Global 7500 business jet. The aircraft offers the industry's longest range and four distinct living spaces.
Bombardier Inc. has celebrated the entry-into-service of its Global 7500 business jet during an event at its Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre. The aircraft is designed to offer a range of 7,700 nautical miles (14,260 km).
The Global 7500 has reportedly exceeded its initial performance commitments during flight testing, including demonstrating a takeoff distance of 5,800 feet (1,768 m). This shorter takeoff requirement is claimed to be an improvement over competing aircraft.
The flight validation campaign for the aircraft is described as highly efficient. The jet also achieved its maximum speed shortly after the flight test program began, according to company statements.
Inside, the Global 7500 features a cabin with four separate living spaces, a full-size galley, and proprietary seating and cabin management systems. Bombardier stated the aircraft aims to redefine business aviation standards.
