Bombardier reports revenue growth and improved cash flow in second quarter

Bombardier Inc. announced solid financial results for the second quarter of 2026, marked by a significant year-over-year improvement in free cash flow and an expanding order backlog. The company's revenue grew 6% to $2.15 billion, driven by a record 14% increase in its Services business, which contributed $674 million. Bombardier delivered 32 aircraft during the quarter.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 9% to $325 million, with a margin of 15.1%. Reported EBIT reached $225 million, up 10% from the prior year. Free cash flow totaled $228 million, a $392 million improvement compared to the second quarter of 2025. Cash flows from operating activities saw a substantial increase.

The company's backlog stood at $21.8 billion as of June 30, 2026, an increase of $4.3 billion since year-end 2025. Strong demand, particularly for the Global 8000 aircraft, resulted in a unit book-to-bill ratio of 1.5x for the quarter. Available liquidity remained strong at approximately $1.9 billion.

Bombardier continued its deleveraging efforts, reducing debt by $356 million with no maturities before November 2030. The company remains on track to meet its full-year 2026 guidance across all key metrics.
