BoMill has announced a new high-capacity configuration for its BoMill InSight sorting system, increasing the maximum processing rate to 30 metric tons per hour from the previous 15 tons. The company stated the upgrade maintains the same installation footprint.

The enhanced capacity aims to reduce the investment cost per ton sorted and improve the return on investment for customers. The development was reportedly driven by requests from both existing and prospective clients seeking higher throughput.

According to BoMill, the new configuration is suitable for large-scale in-line integration within flour mills, grain handling facilities, and malthouses. The modular design of the BoMill InSight platform allows existing users to upgrade to the new capacity.

The BoMill InSight system utilizes technology to sort grains and other raw materials by identifying and removing unwanted elements such as weed seeds, broken kernels, and impurities, thereby improving final product quality and safety.
