Bonava AB reported an increase in net sales for the second quarter of 2026, reaching SEK 2,090 million, up from SEK 1,839 million in the same period of 2025. This growth was accompanied by a significant improvement in profitability.

The company's gross margin rose to 15.5 percent, from 13.0 percent in the prior year's second quarter. Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) more than doubled, reaching SEK 166 million, with the EBIT margin improving to 7.9 percent from 4.3 percent.

Sales volume also saw an increase, with 535 housing units sold to consumers, compared to 432 in the second quarter of 2025. Production starts also increased to 636 units, from 584 previously.

Under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), net sales were SEK 1,768 million (SEK 2,139 million), and EBIT was SEK 111 million (SEK 128 million). Earnings per share (EPS) under IFRS were negative SEK 0.09, compared to positive SEK 0.07.

Cash flow from operations before financing and tax was negative SEK 456 million, a decrease from SEK 95 million in the second quarter of 2025. This could reflect increased investment in ongoing construction projects.
