Bonprix Adopts 3D Technology for Product Development
Fashion company Bonprix is implementing Assyst's 3D-Vidya software to enhance product development processes, aiming for increased efficiency, reduced physical samples, and resource savings.

Bonprix Handelsgesellschaft mbH has adopted 3D-Vidya, a 3D simulation software from Assyst, for its virtual clothing development. This initiative aims to make product development more efficient, flexible, and resource-conscious.
The new 3D simulation technology allows for the digital visualization of garments and the creation of three-dimensional patterns without the need for physical prototypes. This significantly speeds up the journey from concept to finished product. The software enables assessment of a garment's appearance and fit, as well as rapid adjustments to colors and fabrics.
Bonprix is initially implementing 3D-Vidya for the product development of shirts, nightwear, blouses, and tops. The company plans to gradually extend its use to other product groups. The technology is expected to substantially reduce the number of physical samples required, saving time, costs, and materials.
Beyond reducing physical samples, the adoption of 3D modeling also cuts down on material waste and transportation. The need to ship samples from overseas for review is eliminated, improving the company's environmental footprint in line with Bonprix's sustainability strategy.
