Bonprix has launched its first "Sustainable Collection" featuring 20 styles of women's apparel. The collection, made from materials such as organic cotton, cotton from the Cotton made in Africa initiative, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and TENCEL™ Lyocell, will be available in 23 countries starting April 18, 2019.

In addition to sustainable materials, the production process incorporates environmentally friendly practices. For instance, the "Natural-Dye" shirts are colored using natural substances like lemon peels and rose petals, avoiding chemical use. The denim material for the collection utilizes 15 percent less water during its dyeing process compared to conventional methods.

The launch aligns with Bonprix's Corporate Responsibility (CR) strategy, which aims to increase sustainably sourced cotton to 100 percent by 2020. Bonprix is a major partner of the Cotton made in Africa initiative.

The collection will be offered twice annually, with the second release planned for August 29, 2019. It will be available through Bonprix's online channels and its new store in Hamburg.
