The new earbuds utilize Bose's signature QuietControl noise-cancelling technology, featuring two microphones in each earbud. Users can select between two noise-cancelling modes: fully quiet or a "Perception" mode that allows ambient sound. The noise cancellation can also be turned off entirely.
Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds are rated IPX4 for water resistance and utilize a USB-C connection. They support the UAC2 protocol and Bose's proprietary SoundDesign digital signal processing. The earbuds can accept audio input at any sample rate and bit depth, with playback fixed at 24-bit/48kHz.
