Bose reduces pricing on QuietComfort headphones
Bose has implemented significant price cuts on its QuietComfort headphone series across major retailers. The promotion affects both first- and second-generation models.

Bose has lowered the retail price of its QuietComfort headphone lineup by more than 50 percent at select major retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy. The first-generation QuietComfort headphones are currently priced at $169.99, while the second-generation version, introduced in August, is available for $199.
The original QuietComfort model continues to offer 24-hour battery life, active noise cancellation, and multipoint Bluetooth connectivity. Despite being an older iteration, the product remains a functional option for consumers seeking mid-range audio equipment.
The second-generation model introduces technical upgrades, such as support for lossless audio over USB-C. Product evaluations suggest that the newer version offers improved ergonomic comfort by reducing the ear pressure sensation often caused by active noise cancellation. These discounts reflect a standard retail adjustment as the company manages its current inventory.
