Bouygues Achieves or Exceeds All 2016 Objectives
Bouygues Group reported its 2016 financial results, meeting or surpassing all targets. Strong commercial performance in construction and telecommunications drove a significant increase in operating margin.

Paris – February 23, 2017 – Bouygues Group announced today that it met or exceeded all of its 2016 financial objectives. The group's current operating margin increased by 0.6 points to 3.5%, and its net debt decreased by €695 million to €1.9 billion.
The group's revenue saw a 2% decrease to €31.8 billion, primarily due to divestments and currency fluctuations. However, on a like-for-like basis, revenue remained stable. The operating profit rose by 19% to €1.1 billion, demonstrating robust operational performance.
Bouygues Telecom and the construction activities were key contributors to the improved results. Bouygues Telecom's revenue grew by 6%, and its EBITDA margin improved by 3 percentage points to 23%. The construction business segment's operating margin increased by 0.3 points to 3.5%.
Looking ahead, Bouygues anticipates continued profitability improvement in 2017, driven by infrastructure development and ongoing cost management across its various sectors. The company also confirmed its dividend of €1.60 per share, consistent with the previous year.
