Bouygues Construction Acquires Vannoy Construction in the US

Bouygues Construction announced the finalization of its acquisition of Vannoy Construction on June 30th. Vannoy Construction, a significant general contractor in the southeastern United States, reported a turnover of 873 million euros in 2025. This strategic move is expected to bolster Bouygues' presence and growth prospects in the US market.

The acquisition aligns with Bouygues Construction's international development strategy. The Paris-based company, which had a turnover of 10.6 billion euros in 2025, is expanding in stable and dynamic markets across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Vannoy Construction operates in key sectors including healthcare, education, industry, and distribution, and possesses a robust order book indicating customer confidence.

Bouygues Construction already has a presence in the US, with existing projects in Florida, Rhode Island, and Washington D.C. The acquisition in the Southeast targets one of the country's most attractive markets, driven by strong demographic and economic growth, leading to substantial investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and industrial facilities.

The addition of Vannoy Construction, founded in 1952, is also anticipated to generate new synergies within the broader Bouygues group. Sister companies such as Equans and Colas also operate in the region, potentially enabling collaborative offerings that provide added value to clients.
