Bouygues Construction Acquires Vannoy Construction in US
French construction firm Bouygues Construction has completed its acquisition of Vannoy Construction, enhancing its presence in the southeastern United States. The deal expands Bouygues' operations in a key growth region.

Bouygues Construction, the French construction group, has finalized the acquisition of Vannoy Construction, a North Carolina-based general contractor. This move strengthens Bouygues Construction's long-term position in the southeastern United States, a region experiencing significant demographic and economic growth.
Vannoy Construction, which operates across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, reported revenues of €873 million in 2025. The company specializes in sectors such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, and retail. The acquisition broadens Bouygues Construction's footprint in an area with substantial investment in infrastructure, public facilities, and data centers.
The transaction grants Vannoy Construction access to Bouygues Construction's engineering expertise, innovation capabilities, and international network. Vannoy will retain its existing management team, brand, and company culture. Bouygues Construction also anticipates potential synergies with its sister companies, Equans and Colas, which are already active in the region.
This acquisition is part of Bouygues Construction's international growth strategy. The company is already involved in projects across the U.S., including in Florida, Rhode Island, and Washington D.C. The addition of Vannoy Construction is expected to further bolster the group's development strategy in mature markets.
