BrainsMingle Secures $400,000 in Seed Funding
Egypt-based BrainsMingle, an AI-driven, video-first professional network prioritizing human connection, has raised $400,000 in seed funding. The investment was led by Egyptian human capital technology group BasharSoft Group.

BrainsMingle, an AI-driven professional networking platform based in Egypt, has successfully closed a $400,000 seed funding round. The investment was led by BasharSoft Group, a prominent Egyptian human capital technology company.
Founded by Belal Amin and Yousef Gamal, BrainsMingle aims to foster authentic human connections through video content. The platform enables experts to host live sessions, build communities, manage bookings, and monetize their expertise. It also serves ambitious professionals seeking knowledge and peer connections.
The company has already seen engagement from professionals and communities in over 90 countries. This funding round marks BasharSoft's first strategic investment since its acquisition of iCareer last year, signaling its commitment to advancing professional engagement technologies.
"We built BrainsMingle around one belief: the most valuable professional moments happen between people, not between people and content," said Belal Amin, co-founder of BrainsMingle. "BasharSoft’s investment is a powerful validation of that vision."
Ameer Sherif, executive chairman of BasharSoft, stated that BrainsMingle has developed the technology to fill a significant gap in how knowledge and experience are shared online, consolidating multiple global tools into a single, sophisticated network.
