Bravida Acquires Automation Company to Strengthen Östersund Presence

Bravida is strengthening its automation services in Östersund and the surrounding areas through the acquisition of Elpalko AB. The acquisition will expand Bravida's offering in Östersund, Timrå, and Jättendal. Elpalko AB has annual sales of approximately SEK 15 million and employs four people.

Founded in 1989, Elpalko AB specializes in automation, as well as control and regulation systems, electrical installations, and service contracts. Its client base includes various energy providers, municipalities, and infrastructure companies.

Fredrik Alcén, Branch Manager at Bravida's Östersund Ventilation Branch, stated that Elpalko brings valuable experience and expertise in automation, benefiting both local and national operations. He expressed anticipation for collaboration on future projects and with new customers.

Niclas Kärrman, the current CEO of Elpalko, will continue with the company post-acquisition. He views joining Bravida as a strategic move for expansion and future-proofing services for existing clients, leveraging Bravida's extensive Nordic presence and skilled workforce.

Bravida will officially take over ownership on November 3, 2025. Bravida is a leading installation services group in the Nordics, operating in VVS, electrical, and building automation.
