Bravida Acquires Finnish Installations Company Asentaja Group

Bravida, a provider of installation services, is acquiring Asentaja Group Ab Oy in the Finnish region of Österbotten. The acquired company is a significant supplier of electrical, heating, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the area, employing around 100 people and generating approximately SEK 130 million in turnover.

Founded in 2011, Asentaja Group operates in several cities including Jakobstad, Vasa, and Karleby, as well as Seinäjoki and Tornio. Bravida states that this acquisition will considerably increase its market coverage in Finland.

"For Bravida, this is a strategically important step," said Marcus Karsten, Head of Division Finland at Bravida. "Österbotten is a growing market, and the region's Swedish connection will facilitate our establishment. It will also strengthen our role as an industrial supplier in northern Finland."

The current leaders of Asentaja Group will retain their roles within Bravida and are expected to play key parts in the region's continued development. Bravida entered the Finnish market in the summer of 2015 and aims to become a leading nationwide supplier. The acquisition is expected to be finalized on December 1.
