Bravida awarded installation contract for new data centre at Port of Esbjerg, Denmark

Bravida has secured a contract to perform technical installations for the new Dansk Data Center 1 (DDC1) located at the Port of Esbjerg, Denmark. The agreement is a significant step in Bravida's expansion within the data center sector.

The contract encompasses a wide range of installations, including electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, cooling, and building management systems (BMS). While the exact value of the contract is confidential, it is described as being in the range of a medium-sized data center project.

This project adds to Bravida's extensive experience in delivering data center projects across the Nordic region. The company has a long track record of providing technical solutions for digital infrastructure. The new data center is anticipated to be operational in the autumn of 2027.

The DDC1 project, initiated in August 2026, is backed by investors including PensionDanmark, Thylander Group, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), and Plexar. The construction is underway, with completion expected next year.
