Bravida awarded SEK 650 million installation contract for data center in Borlänge

Bravida has secured a contract worth SEK 650 million with EcoDataCenter for installation work at a new data center facility in Kvarnsveden, Borlänge. This marks the eighth data center project where Bravida will undertake installation services for EcoDataCenter.

The scope of the project includes the installation of the electricity supply, power systems, lighting, and cooling infrastructure. Bravida has previously carried out installation projects for EcoDataCenter at a total of eight facilities in the Borlänge and Falun areas, with four of these projects already completed.

EcoDataCenter stated that the investments in Borlänge are crucial for meeting the societal demand for increased digitalization. Bravida's capability to deliver projects of this scale was highlighted as important for their operations. The companies have been collaborating on data center construction in the Dalarna region since 2019.

The assignment in Kvarnsveden will commence immediately, with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2028. The order was registered in the third quarter of 2026.
