Bravida expands industrial piping services in Sundsvall
Bravida has acquired Åsbergs Rörteknik AB to strengthen its industrial piping footprint in the Sundsvall region.
Bravida finalized the acquisition of Åsbergs Rörteknik AB on November 1, 2023. Founded in 2011, the company specializes in industrial piping for the pulp, paper, and power plant sectors, employing 40 staff members.
The acquired firm reports annual sales of approximately SEK 195 million. Bravida expects the move to enhance its local service capacity and technical expertise in pipe construction and assembly across the Sundsvall area.
Daniel Ytterbom, Regional Manager for Industry at Bravida, stated that the acquisition improves the company's geographical presence and potential for operational synergies. The seven former co-owners of Åsbergs Rörteknik, including Joakim Ehnberg, will remain with the organization as it integrates into the Bravida group.
