Bravida Finland acquires operations to strengthen Helsinki presence

Bravida Finland has strengthened its position in the Helsinki market through the acquisition of Nykysähkö Oy and Nykyrakennus Oy. The transaction involves the transfer of assets and liabilities, aiming to enhance Bravida's services in electrical installations and maintenance.

The acquired business has an annual turnover of approximately EUR 3.6 million and comprises 11 employees. It specializes in electrical installations, repair work, and maintenance services within the Helsinki Region, complemented by construction services such as renovations and property modifications.

Marko Holopainen, Head of Division Finland at Bravida, stated that the acquisition aligns with the company's strategy for growth in Finland. "We are pleased to welcome new employees to Bravida via this acquisition. Our regional range of services relating to maintenance, service, and renovation in Helsinki and its surroundings is now further strengthened, which is fully in line with Bravida’s strategy to grow in Finland," Holopainen commented.

Juho Peltomäki, CEO of Nykysähkö Oy and Nykyrakennus Oy, expressed satisfaction with joining Bravida, anticipating continued positive development and enhanced customer offerings with the support of the larger company.

Bravida will officially take over ownership on May 1, 2024. Bravida is a leading installation company in the Nordics.
