Bravida Reports Increased Sales and Profit for 2014
Technical services company Bravida reported an increase in net sales and operating profit for the full year 2014. The company also strengthened its market position through several acquisitions.
Technical services company Bravida announced on February 25, 2015, that its net sales for the full year 2014 reached SEK 12 billion, up from SEK 11.08 billion in 2013. Operating profit also saw an increase, reaching SEK 705 million compared to SEK 600 million in the previous year.
The company highlighted significant improvements in its Norwegian and Danish operations, noting increased volumes and profitability in these regions. Cash flow from operating activities also improved substantially, amounting to SEK 659 million for the year, an increase from SEK 457 million in 2013.
Bravida stated that it made several acquisitions during the latter half of 2014, primarily in Norway and Sweden, which have bolstered its market position in specific local and regional markets. The order backlog remained strong at SEK 6.58 billion at the end of the period.
Looking ahead, Bravida assesses the construction cycle in Scandinavia as stable and anticipates continued positive growth in 2015, aiming to maintain its industry-leading profitability while pursuing both organic and acquisition-driven expansion.
