Bravida Reports Stable Net Sales, Improved Earnings in Denmark

Bravida reported net sales of SEK 8,108 million for the period October-December 2024, remaining flat compared to the previous year. The company's EBITA increased by 1 percent to SEK 604 million, with the EBITA margin rising to 7.5 percent.

The company highlighted an improvement in earnings in Denmark, which developed in line with expectations. Bravida noted that actions taken are showing impact, and future profitability improvements are anticipated for 2025.

Despite a challenging market in southern Sweden, where sales declined by 20 percent, Bravida compensated with increased sales from services, acquisitions, and infrastructure projects. The company also undertook restructuring efforts in southern Sweden, impacting earnings by approximately SEK 41 million.

Bravida experienced some significant bad debts and bankruptcies, which negatively affected earnings. The report also noted efforts to prioritize margin over volume in project selection, leading to a weaker order intake in the installation business.

Cash flow from operating activities was strong, and the board proposed an increased dividend of SEK 3.75 per share. During the quarter, Bravida completed one acquisition, adding approximately SEK 116 million in annual sales.
