Bravida secures contract for second XTX Markets data center in Kajaani
Bravida Finland has been contracted to provide electrical installations for the second phase of the XTX Markets data center complex in Kajaani, following work on the initial facility.
Bravida Finland has been awarded the contract for electrical installations at the second data center facility within XTX Markets’ campus in Kajaani. The company previously completed electrical work for the project’s first data center.
The project, managed by British algorithmic trading firm XTX Markets, involves electrical installations for server halls and process electricity systems. Bravida is executing the work under a contract with the project's main contractor, YIT.
Teemu Honkonen, Project Manager for Bravida’s electrical branch in Oulu, noted that insights gained during the first phase are being applied to streamline the new project. YIT’s Vice President of Data Centers, Janne Salmenoja, added that the partnership aims to address the specific requirements inherent in high-spec data center construction.
Installation work is currently underway, with project completion scheduled for 2027.
