Bravida Secures Service Agreement for Great Belt Bridge

Bravida has signed a two-year framework agreement with Sund & Bælt A/S to provide service and maintenance for electrical installations, automation, cooling, pumps, and HVAC systems on the Great Belt Bridge, a major Danish infrastructure link.

The agreement, valued at approximately SEK 75.7 million, includes an option for an additional two-year extension. Bravida previously played a role in the bridge's construction, having been responsible for electrical installations in both the tunnel and on the bridge itself, as well as acting as a sub-contractor for various installation areas.

"It feels great that we are once again entrusted to work at the Great Belt Bridge," said Morten Reedtz Kjellev, communications manager for Bravida Division Denmark. He highlighted the company's competent organization and prior experience from constructing both the Great Belt Bridge and the Öresund Bridge.

Service and maintenance work is scheduled to commence on June 1, 2016. Lars Fuhr Pedersen, technical director at Sund & Bælt A/S, stated that proactive maintenance is crucial for minimizing long-term costs and ensuring the safety of the increasingly utilized road and rail infrastructure.
