Bravida, a leading provider of installation and service of buildings and facilities, has agreed to sell its subsidiary Abeka EL & Kraftanläggningar AB to Vidia Climate Fund I. The transaction is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2026 and is expected to result in a positive cash flow impact of approximately SEK 300 million and a profit impact of SEK 80 million.

Abeka has been part of Bravida since 2015, focusing on the electricity distribution segment. Bravida stated that the divestment is a natural part of the company's development and that a new owner will provide Abeka with the right conditions to take the next step in its ongoing journey.

Mattias Johansson, CEO and Group President at Bravida, commented that Abeka has good potential for further development. He expressed confidence that both Abeka's customers and employees will be welcomed and well taken care of by the new owner. For Bravida, the divestment further strengthens its balance sheet.

The transaction is expected to allow Bravida to focus on and develop strategically prioritized areas within other parts of electricity distribution and energy transmission, which the company believes are more technology-intensive and better suited to its existing competences and economies of scale.
