Bravida to install in two data centres for approximately SEK 200 million

Bravida Sweden has entered into an agreement with EcoDataCenter for installation work in two data centres located in Kvarnsveden, Borlänge. The combined order value for the projects is approximately SEK 200 million, with each facility representing an investment of around SEK 100 million.

Bravida's scope of work will encompass installations for electricity supply, power, and lighting. The completion of these installations is anticipated by mid-2027.

Peter Michelson, CEO of EcoDataCenter, highlighted the strategic importance of these projects in addressing the growing demand for data centre capacity, particularly driven by the needs of the AI economy. "The lack of data centres constitutes a bottleneck in the AI economy, and investments like these are crucial to being able to meet society's needs for future capacity," Michelson stated.

Bravida and EcoDataCenter have maintained a collaborative relationship since 2017. Lars Täuber, Head of Division Sweden at Bravida, noted the significant potential within the data centre market. "We observe strong potential in the data centre market. Over the past five years, we have completed installation projects in ten data centres in Sweden, and Bravida is among the few players with the capacity to undertake projects of this magnitude," Täuber commented.
