BravoTran Launches Automated Payment Matching Solution for Freight Forwarders
BravoTran has introduced a new solution designed to automate the matching of incoming payments to invoices. The tool is specifically developed for freight forwarders and customs brokers.

BravoTran, a financial automation platform for freight forwarders and customs brokers, has launched its BravoTran Cash Application solution. This new software aims to automate the process of matching incoming customer payments to correct invoices, a task traditionally requiring significant manual effort within the freight forwarding industry.
The solution connects incoming payment details, remittance advice, original invoices, and bank data. It then matches confirmed payments and closes them directly within the CargoWise system. The software directs only exceptions that cannot be automatically matched to accounting staff for review, routing them to a centralized workflow.
BravoTran is extending its automation capabilities from prior accounts payable processing into the accounts receivable side. The company stated that the solution is already live and processing actual payments, with additional customers onboarding soon.
BravoTran Cash Application is purpose-built for freight forwarders, aiming to free up staff time from routine tasks for more valuable work. Laurie Zailski, Director of Accounting at Rogers & Brown, noted the solution's cost-effectiveness and improved visibility into company cash flow.
