Brian Fugere Appointed Chief Product Officer at ClarisHealth
Healthcare technology executive Brian Fugere has joined ClarisHealth as Chief Product Officer. He will lead the company's product strategy and innovation efforts.
ClarisHealth, a technology firm specializing in payment integrity within the healthcare sector, has announced the appointment of Brian Fugere as its new Chief Product Officer. Fugere will report directly to CEO Michael Axt and will oversee the Product Management, Product Delivery, and Business Intelligence teams.
Fugere brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare and technology, with a focus on product strategy, engineering, and operations. In his most recent role as Chief Product Officer at CentralSquare Technologies, he led the expansion of AI capabilities across the company's product portfolio and internal workflows.
ClarisHealth CEO Michael Axt highlighted Fugere's expertise as crucial for the company's objectives. "Brian's deep expertise in healthcare technology, platform consolidation, and AI integration align perfectly with our mission to give health plans control over their claims payment accuracy operations," Axt stated.
Fugere commented that health plans face ongoing pressure to improve efficiency and reduce costs without negatively impacting providers. He believes ClarisHealth and its Pareo® platform are uniquely positioned to address these challenges through AI.
Prior to CentralSquare, Fugere held roles as Chief Product & Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at symplr. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration.
