Bridge Data Centres Appoints New Co-CEO
Singapore-based Bridge Data Centres has appointed former Bain Capital partner Drew Chen as co-CEO, effective November 1, 2026.

Bridge Data Centres, an operator of data center facilities across Asia Pacific, has expanded its leadership team by appointing Drew Chen as co-CEO. Chen will serve alongside current executive Eric Fan, with his tenure officially beginning on November 1, 2026.
Chen joins the firm after a long career at Bain Capital, where he served as a senior partner and helped establish the firm's Asia Pacific private equity division. Bain Capital’s history with the data center firm includes the strategic merger of ChinData and Bridge, which was designed to consolidate a pan-Asian infrastructure platform.
Currently operating across Malaysia, Thailand, and India, the company maintains significant facilities in locations such as Johor and Cyberjaya. The firm expects to surpass a capacity of 1 gigawatt within 2026. This leadership change occurs amid market reports that Bain Capital is exploring a potential divestment of its stake in the firm at a valuation of approximately $5 billion.
