BrighterBalance Named "Gold Friend of CASE" for Supporting Special Education Leaders

BrighterBalance, a platform designed for documenting behavioral data in K-12 special education and MTSS settings, has received the "Gold Friend of CASE" designation from the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE).

This recognition is awarded to companies that support CASE's mission to advance leadership, advocacy, and professional development for special education administrators across the nation.

The platform aims to alleviate the significant documentation burden faced by special education leaders. It allows educators to log behavioral data in under 10 seconds, identify real-time patterns, and generate progress monitoring reports suitable for IEP and BIP reviews, without increasing workload for teachers and staff.

CASE Associate Executive Director Brigid Bright commented on the necessity of such tools, stating that BrighterBalance's ability to streamline real-time behavior capture addresses the documentation challenges and contributes to reducing burnout among special education teachers. Tania Amerson, executive director of exceptional education for Bartow County Schools, shared that teachers reported feeling more supported and less burned out when using the platform.
