Broad Arrow's Zurich Auction Achieves Over CHF 22 Million
Broad Arrow Auctions' inaugural Zurich event generated over CHF 22 million (approximately $24.6 million USD) with an 87 percent sell-through rate. The auction was held at the Dolder Grand hotel.
Broad Arrow Auctions, a Hagerty company, has reported the results of its first auction held in Zurich. The event, which took place on Saturday, November 1, achieved total sales exceeding CHF 22 million (approximately $24.6 million USD) and a sell-through rate of 87 percent.
The auction was hosted at the Dolder Grand hotel in Zurich, in partnership with Auto Zurich. The event saw registered bidders from 24 countries competing for over 60 classic cars and hypercars.
The headline sale was a 1956 Jaguar D-Type, XKD 551, which fetched CHF 5,181,250. A 2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider followed, selling for CHF 2,706,250. The catalogue also featured several significant Ferrari models, including a 1952 Ferrari 212 Europa Pinin Farina Coupe that sold for CHF 816,250, and a 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB Alloy that reached CHF 2,312,500.
Other notable sales included a 2010 Lamborghini Reventón Roadster for CHF 1,356,250 and a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder for CHF 1,418,125. The auction house concluded its European calendar with this event and plans to continue its auction series in Las Vegas early next year.
