Broadcom Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
Amie Thuener will become Broadcom's new Chief Financial Officer on June 12, 2026, succeeding Kirsten M. Spears who is retiring.
Broadcom Inc., a global technology company, has announced a planned transition in its finance leadership. Amie Thuener has been appointed as the company's new Chief Financial Officer, effective June 12, 2026.
Thuener joins Broadcom from Alphabet Inc., where she served as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer since 2018. Her prior experience includes leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
The transition follows the retirement of current CFO Kirsten M. Spears, who has been with Broadcom for 12 years. Spears will continue in her role until the effective date of the transition and will serve as an advisor for nine months to ensure continuity.
Hock Tan, President and CEO of Broadcom, expressed gratitude to Spears for her contributions and welcomed Thuener, highlighting her extensive experience in financial reporting, corporate governance, and leading complex global organizations.
