Broadridge and Korea Securities Depository Sign MOU for Proxy Voting Modernization
Fintech firm Broadridge and Korea Securities Depository (KSD) have signed a memorandum of understanding to streamline the proxy voting process for international investors holding Korean equities.

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2026 – Global fintech leader Broadridge and Korea Securities Depository (KSD) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on modernizing Korea's proxy voting infrastructure. The initiative aims to enhance the process for international investors exercising their voting rights for Korean equities.
The collaboration is intended to support KSD's objective of increasing the efficiency, transparency, and global competitiveness of the Korean capital market. Broadridge and KSD plan to work together to develop a digitized and automated end-to-end proxy voting process that aligns with global standards and improves governance.
This partnership seeks to bolster Korea's standing as a modern and trusted capital markets jurisdiction. Broadridge will contribute its extensive experience and technology from similar infrastructure initiatives in other countries. The scope of the collaboration may expand in the future to include additional proxy-related areas.
