BSR Real Estate Investment Trust Plans New York Stock Exchange Listing
BSR Real Estate Investment Trust announced its intention to dual list its units for trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the new ticker symbol "BSRT". The listing is anticipated to occur in mid-October.

Little Rock, Arkansas and Toronto – BSR Real Estate Investment Trust (BSR) has announced plans to list its units for trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The strategic initiative aims to align the REIT's assets, operations, and functional currency with the world's largest equity exchange and to address growing investor demand from the United States. The new ticker symbol is expected to be "BSRT".
The REIT's Board of Trustees has approved the listing, which is targeted for mid-October. A registration statement on Form 40-F has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and an application has been made to NYSE for the listing. Concurrently, BSR's U.S. dollar-denominated listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), currently "HOM.U", will be delisted. The Canadian dollar-denominated TSX listing, "HOM.UN", will change its ticker to "BSRT.UN", and the current OTCQX listing "BSRTF" will cease.
BSR President and CEO Dan Oberste stated that listing on the NYSE is expected to streamline trading dynamics for existing and prospective investors. He added that the initiative is anticipated to enhance the REIT's ability to maximize investor returns.
BSR Real Estate Investment Trust owns a portfolio of multifamily garden-style residential properties in primary markets within the U.S. Sunbelt region. The NYSE listing remains subject to the SEC declaring the registration statement effective and NYSE approval, along with meeting all applicable listing and regulatory requirements.
