BTQ Technologies to Secure MoonPay Korea's Stablecoin Infrastructure
BTQ Technologies will provide post-quantum security for MoonPay Korea's on-chain infrastructure supporting Korean won stablecoins. The partnership includes a joint security roadmap and proof-of-concept testing with Korean banks.

BTQ Technologies Corp. has announced a strategic partnership with MoonPay Korea to serve as the security partner for its stablecoin infrastructure. The collaboration focuses on implementing post-quantum cryptography to protect the platform against future threats from quantum computing.
Under the agreement, BTQ will secure MoonPay Korea's full-stack on-chain infrastructure for Korean won-backed stablecoins. This covers the entire lifecycle, from issuance and distribution to wallet management, settlement, and final delivery to users and merchants.
The partnership will involve developing a phased post-quantum security roadmap and conducting a proof-of-concept with Korean banking institutions. This testing phase will focus on BTQ's Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN) for quantum-safe transaction signing and key management.
MoonPay Korea's infrastructure connects Korean won stablecoins to MoonPay's global network, which serves over 35 million customers worldwide. BTQ's role is crucial in ensuring the long-term resilience and security of this infrastructure as the digital asset landscape evolves and quantum computing capabilities advance.
