Bugatti has unveiled the Destrier, a unique one-off supercar created by modifying the company's track-focused Bolide. While the Bolide was engineered for maximum circuit performance, the Destrier prioritizes design, emotion, and handcrafted artistry.

The Destrier is the third creation from Bugatti's "Programme Solitaire" bespoke project. It retains the Bolide's carbon fiber monocoque but features a significantly lower body height of 1001mm, setting a new record for Bugatti's lowest-ever vehicle height. Aggressive aerodynamic elements from the Bolide have been removed, resulting in a cleaner, more flowing silhouette. A subtle, integrated rear spoiler, inspired by the Chiron Profilée, replaces the Bolide's large wing.

Described by Bugatti's Design Director Frank Heyl as a car to be "felt with the heart, not understood with the head," the Destrier's design also draws inspiration from the legendary Type 57. This historic model served as the basis for both the Le Mans-winning Type 57G "Tank" race car and the iconic Type 57SC Atlantic.

Finished in an exclusive Sapphire Celeste deep blue paint, featuring microscopic diamond-like particles for a unique shimmer, the Destrier presents a restrained yet opulent appearance. The interior diverges from the Bolide's stark racing cockpit, adopting a refined atmosphere reminiscent of haute couture. Materials include warm brown leather, suede, and a bespoke 3D knit fabric interwoven with copper thread, creating a cohesive, handcrafted feel.

Beneath the sculpted bodywork, the Destrier is powered by the same 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine from the Bolide, producing a maximum output of 1177 kW. While its focus has shifted from the track to artistry, the Destrier retains the formidable power synonymous with the Bugatti brand.
