Buick Century E7 Achieves 20,000 Deliveries in Record Time
Buick announced its Century E7 model has become the fastest joint-venture new energy vehicle to reach 20,000 deliveries. Launched in April, the vehicle exceeded 10,000 deliveries in its first month.
Buick's Century E7 model has now reached a milestone of 20,000 deliveries, marking it as the fastest joint-venture new energy vehicle to hit this target. The vehicle was launched on April 22, and within its first month of release, deliveries surpassed 10,000 units, setting a new record for delivery speed in the segment.
The Century E7 is offered in three configurations: 1600 Large Full, 1600 Super Full, and 1600 Super Full Turbo. The exterior design features Buick's signature wing-shaped styling from its SUV concept, a closed front fascia, and split headlights with distinctive C-shaped daytime running lights. The side profile includes semi-flush door handles and 20-inch wheels. The vehicle measures 4850mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1676mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm.
Inside, the Buick Century E7 boasts a four-seat layout that can convert into a double bed. The front passenger seat offers a "zero gravity" recliner with adjustable leg and back support. Both front and rear seats have three levels of heating and ventilation. The cabin is equipped with a silver-ion preserved cool-and-warm box and a multi-functional table in the rear.
For intelligent driving, the Century E7 is equipped with 27 sensors, including LiDAR, and utilizes the Momenta R6 AI model. This system supports autonomous driving in various scenarios like highways, urban environments, and parking, featuring urban NOA and multi-scenario automatic parking. Advanced driver-assistance systems and 24-hour emergency services are also integrated.
The powertrain is a "True Dragon Plug-in Hybrid Pro" system featuring a 165kW electric motor and a 6kW external discharge function. Depending on the trim, it is powered by a 1.5-liter or a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The CLTC pure electric range is between 230-235 kilometers, with a total range extending up to 1630 kilometers.
