Buick Launches Limited Edition Century LPGA Model
Buick introduced a limited edition version of its Century model, named the Century LPGA, at the 2026 Buick LPGA Championship in Shanghai. Only 66 units will be produced, priced at 539,900 yuan.
Buick unveiled the new Century LPGA limited edition on October 13, 2026, coinciding with the start of the 2026 Buick LPGA Championship in Shanghai. The vehicle will be produced in a limited run of 66 units, with an official guidance price of 539,900 yuan (approximately $74,000). The limited series is available in three color schemes: a six-seater "Smoke Wave Blue" and "Cloud Peak White" (22 units), a seven-seater "Smoke Wave Blue" and "Cloud Peak White" (22 units), and a seven-seater "Sunset Red" and "Shale Black" (22 units).
The Century LPGA limited edition is based on the standard Century model, retaining its dimensions and powertrain configuration. The new model features an exclusive "Cloud Ridge Sky Blue" two-tone paint job, reportedly inspired by the colors of dawn over a golf course. The vehicle measures 5230/1980/1867 mm (length/width/height) with a wheelbase of 3130 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large luxury MPV.
Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a 30-inch curved 6K resolution screen in the center console and a 15.6-inch "Rear Cabin Smart Screen" for rear passengers. Buick offers two interior color themes: "Smoke Wave Blue" with "Cloud Peak White" and "Sunset Red" with "Shale Black." The second row features "Cloud Feeling" luxury seats with custom LPGA event embroidery on the headrests. A 1.8-meter electric sliding rail serves the second and third rows, allowing electric lateral movement for the second row and a theater-style folding capability for the third row. Buick states that "seven luxury seat linkage functions" can be activated with a single button press.
The powertrain utilizes an eighth-generation Ecotec 2.0T turbocharged engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This engine produces a maximum power output of 174 kW (237 hp) and a peak torque of 350 Nm. It is paired with a 9-speed HYDRA-MATIC intelligent transmission and features front-wheel drive.
Buyers will receive additional benefits, including a 15,000 yuan (approximately $2,050) trade-in subsidy, a custom TaylorMade golf bag, and the option for a free replacement with an identical new vehicle if a single collision damage claim covered by the vehicle's insurance exceeds 30% of its purchase price within three years.
