Bunzl Canada is concluding 2021 by emphasizing advancements in digital tools and customer service capabilities. The company has introduced the Bunzl Safety e-commerce platform, currently in a pilot phase with plans for a full launch in Q1/2022. This new platform is designed to enhance the customer purchasing experience, optimize time and cost savings, and provide improved visibility into procurement and budget management.

The company continues to invest in Internet of Things (IoT) technology through its wandaNEXT™ smart cleaning management system. Recent updates to the system in 2021 include compliance reporting for cleaning programs and the integration of smart dispensers. Future enhancements will incorporate surface diagnostics to measure biofilm on critical surfaces.

Bunzl Canada is also evolving its Confident Clean® ecosystem, with the upcoming launch of the Confident Clean® Online Training portal slated for early 2022.
