Alongside the playbook, Bunzl Canada has expanded its range of sustainable packaging solutions. These new products are not only recyclable but also incorporate recycled content, assisting customers in achieving their environmental objectives.
The company has also implemented measures to minimize fuel consumption within its operations. Bunzl's fleet is now monitored by the Samsara system, which helps reduce idle time and maintain consistent speeds. This initiative is intended to decrease fuel usage and lower the company's overall environmental impact.
Furthermore, Bunzl Canada has developed the 'SustainABILITY™ Assessment' tool. This assessment aids in evaluating food packaging on a sustainability scale, helping businesses select preferable options based on criteria such as material composition and cost.
