Bureau Veritas acquires Impactiva to expand supply chain services
TUV company Bureau Veritas has acquired Impactiva Group S.A., a quality assurance provider for the footwear and apparel industry. The acquisition aims to enhance Bureau Veritas' supply chain service offerings.

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, has announced its acquisition of Impactiva Group S.A. Impactiva specializes in quality assurance for the footwear and apparel sector.
Established in 2003, Impactiva provides guidance to hundreds of factories and tanneries across Asia, Europe, and Africa, focusing on improving production quality. The company works to optimize raw material usage, minimize waste, and eliminate defects through process improvements. In 2022, Impactiva generated approximately $9 million in revenue, supported by its network of 180 specialists located near production hubs.
This acquisition marks a significant expansion for Bureau Veritas' Consumer Products Services division. It strengthens the company's upstream service capabilities in the footwear and apparel manufacturing supply chain, aligning with clients' economic, quality, and sustainability objectives.
Hinda Gharbi, CEO of Bureau Veritas, stated that the acquisition is a key step in expanding into strategic segments. "This acquisition positions Bureau Veritas as a leader in the footwear quality assurance market and establishes Impactiva as the competence center for footwear and supply chain transformation support," Gharbi said.
