Testing, inspection, and certification company Bureau Veritas has announced its acquisition of Ireland-headquartered Lotusworks, a provider of commissioning, quality assurance, and construction management services for semiconductor and data center facilities. The transaction is expected to enhance Bureau Veritas' position in the mission-critical assets market and support its growth strategy.

Lotusworks employs 750 experts and operates across the United States and Europe. The company reported revenues of approximately EUR 131 million in 2025. The acquisition is anticipated to support growth in AI-driven investments within construction and infrastructure.

Hinda Gharbi, CEO of Bureau Veritas, stated that the acquisition is a significant milestone for the company, highlighting Lotusworks' technical expertise and client relationships. By combining the strengths of both entities, Bureau Veritas aims to establish a new, unique platform for validation and technical assurance of mission-critical assets.

The transaction is valued at EUR 375 million, with an expected closing by summer 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Bureau Veritas anticipates maintaining its leverage targets following the acquisition.
