Bureau Veritas partners with Reforest'Action for global reforestation initiative
Bureau Veritas has launched a reforestation program aiming to plant 6,250 trees across six global sites during 2019 in partnership with Reforest'Action.

Professional services firm Bureau Veritas has entered into a partnership with the environmental organization Reforest'Action to support global forest restoration. The project targets specific regions, including fire-damaged landscapes in Canada and mangrove restoration sites in North Sumatra.
Bureau Veritas has committed to planting 6,250 trees across six plantations this year. The initiative includes an employee engagement component where the company pledges to plant one additional tree for every tree planted by an individual staff member.
This project follows the company’s 2018 commitment to the 'Act4Nature' biodiversity agreement. The firm states that these activities are intended to align with its broader environmental objectives, specifically regarding biodiversity preservation and progress toward carbon neutrality.
