Bureau Veritas raises growth guidance and sets AI revenue target for 2030
Testing firm Bureau Veritas has updated its LEAP | 28 strategy, projecting double-digit revenue growth for 2027–2028 and launching a new initiative to capture AI market share.

Bureau Veritas announced an update to its LEAP | 28 strategy during its 2026 Capital Markets Day, raising its revenue growth guidance to double-digit figures for the 2027–2028 period. This revision follows a period of portfolio rotation, which has seen the company exit or divest assets totaling approximately €837 million while completing 24 acquisitions.
The firm has transitioned to a new operating model organized into four divisions and ten product lines. CEO Hinda Gharbi stated that this structure is designed to concentrate expertise in high-growth areas and clarify performance accountability. The company reported that businesses categorized under its 'Expand Leadership' and 'New Strongholds' pillars now represent 68% of total revenue, an increase from 55% at the strategy's inception.
Looking toward 2030, the company aims to generate €1 billion in revenue specifically from AI-driven markets. By integrating AI across its operations, the company seeks to leverage technology to enhance its core testing, inspection, and certification services. The firm also plans to accelerate M&A activity in the coming two years to further bolster its market position.
