Bureau Veritas Reports Solid Growth in Q3 2019
Bureau Veritas announced its Q3 2019 results, with revenue up 6.2% year-on-year and organic growth at 3.9%. The company confirmed its full-year 2019 outlook.
Testing, inspection, and certification company Bureau Veritas reported solid growth in the third quarter of 2019. The company's revenue increased by 6.2% year-on-year, with a 4.7% rise at constant currency. Organic revenue growth stood at 3.9%.
The revenue increase was positively influenced by several of the company's business segments. The Industry segment grew by 6.8%, and the Marine & Offshore segment by 6.5%. The Agri-Food business maintained strong growth thanks to its wide geographical footprint, leading to wins of major contracts.
"The resilience and growth potential of Bureau Veritas’s repositioned portfolio is now firmly delivering the continuous overall performance we were looking to achieve," commented CEO Didier Michaud-Daniel.
The company confirmed its 2019 outlook, expecting solid organic revenue growth, a continued improvement in the adjusted operating margin at constant currency, and sustained strong cash flow generation.
