Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services, has confirmed its strategic ambitions for the LEAP | 28 plan and revised its financial outlook. The company now anticipates double-digit total revenue growth for the 2027โ2028 period, an upgrade from its previous high single-digit forecast. Additionally, Bureau Veritas has set a new target to generate EUR1 billion in revenue from AI-driven markets and services by the year 2030.
The company reported that its portfolio transformation strategy is on track. Since the launch of LEAP | 28, approximately 21% of its portfolio has been repositioned through acquisitions and divestments, contributing EUR1.2 billion to revenue. Bureau Veritas has also implemented a new operating model, organized into four divisions and ten product lines, aimed at simplifying its growth drivers and enhancing focus.
"We have successfully executed on our commitments since launching LEAP | 28 in March 2024. We have achieved strong organic growth, improved margins, and generated attractive shareholder returns," stated CEO Hinda Gharbi. Gharbi highlighted the strategic importance of artificial intelligence, indicating plans for its broad integration across the company's operations and strategic initiatives.
Previously, Bureau Veritas projected high single-digit organic revenue growth for 2023โ2026. The updated outlook for 2027โ2028 suggests an acceleration in growth, supported by an increased pace of acquisitions. The company also narrowed its target leverage ratio to a range of 1.5x to 2.0x.
