Business Angels Europe to sustain WomenINvestEU network following EU funding conclusion
Business Angels Europe and Bpi France are moving to preserve the assets and network of WomenINvestEU after the project's EU-funded phase ended in August 2026.

Business Angels Europe (BAE) has announced plans to maintain the operations and resources of the WomenINvestEU initiative following the conclusion of its European Commission-funded mandate in August 2026. The network, which connects over 260 investors and financial stakeholders, focuses on promoting gender-conscious investment and increasing capital access for women founders.
Throughout its two-year duration, the consortium—consisting of BAE, Bpi France, and EurA—developed a suite of resources including a handbook, a best-practice guide, and a multi-module training program based on insights from more than 50 industry experts. These materials were designed to assist venture capital firms, banks, and angel investors in integrating inclusive practices into their decision-making processes.
To ensure continuity, BAE intends to keep these tools accessible online. The organization is also promoting the European Commitment to Action, inviting external firms to participate either as partners, by actively implementing and measuring policy changes, or as allies, by advocating for inclusive investment within their ecosystems.
This move seeks to prevent the fragmentation of the expertise gathered during the project. By sustaining the network, BAE aims to provide a long-term platform for the exchange of expertise on gender-conscious investment strategies across the European financial landscape.
