BUUU Group Limited has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Brightray Science Inc. and simultaneously raised $60 million in private placements. This strategic move positions industrialized AI data center deployment as BUUU Group's core growth business.
The acquisition and funding will support BUUU Group's expansion into AI-optimized data centers. The company aims to reduce deployment times for these facilities to six to nine months, significantly faster than the industry norm. A 70 MW facility in Johor, Malaysia, is already operational, with a pipeline of projects expected to reach approximately 2 GW.
BUUU Group is also relocating its headquarters to Singapore to support its international growth strategy. The focus on a standardized, industrialized approach is intended to accelerate the delivery and scalability of AI computing infrastructure.
Brightray Science Inc.'s expertise in AI is expected to complement BUUU Group's infrastructure development, enhancing their joint capabilities in serving the rapidly growing demand for AI-specific computing resources.
