BUUU Group to acquire majority stake in Brightray Science, raise over $60M USD

BUUU Group Limited announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Brightray Science Inc. The transaction will also involve raising over $60 million USD through private placements. This move aims to establish BUUU Group as a primary provider of data centers featuring industrialized artificial intelligence (AI), designating this sector as its core growth driver.

The company highlights the competitive advantages of its data center offerings, including a six-to-nine-month delivery timeframe, which is half the industry standard. BUUU Group currently operates 70 MW in Johor, Malaysia, and has a project pipeline projected to reach approximately 2 GW.

In parallel, BUUU Group is in the process of relocating its headquarters to Singapore. This relocation is expected to bolster its strategic presence in the region and support its international expansion efforts, amid rising demand for advanced digital infrastructure.

BUUU Group intends to leverage the synergy between AI and data center infrastructure to fuel its future expansion. The acquisition of Brightray Science is anticipated to accelerate the development and deployment of BUUU Group's solutions, addressing the increasing market need for computational power and data storage.
