Bvlgari, the luxury jewelry brand under the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton umbrella, has opened its newly expanded Manifattura Bvlgari in Valenza, Italy. The facility is now recognized as the largest single-brand jewelry manufacturing site globally, with plans to significantly increase production capacity.

The expanded site spans 33,000 square meters and is dedicated to Italian craftsmanship. To meet anticipated demand, Bvlgari intends to recruit over 500 new artisans by 2029, bolstering its workforce for intricate jewelry creation.

Sustainability has been a key focus in the expansion. The new facilities are designed to cover half of the site's energy needs, with the remainder sourced from 100% renewable energy. Advanced technologies, including a geothermal field and over 4,100 photovoltaic panels, have been integrated, reinforcing the site's LEED GOLD certification. Bvlgari also maintains a commitment to ethical sourcing, having exclusively used RJC CoC-certified gold in its jewelry since 2022.

A notable addition is the Scuola Bvlgari, the brand's first publicly accessible educational center focused entirely on jewelry making. This 1,000-square-meter center will train aspiring artisans in both traditional and modern techniques through a partnership with Tarì Design School (TADS), aiming to preserve and advance fine jewelry craftsmanship.
