BVR Held Parliamentary Reception in Brussels

The German cooperative banking association BVR (Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken) held a "parliamentary reception" in Brussels on November 10, 2016. The event aimed to foster discussion and dialogue between European policymakers and representatives of the banking sector.

The reception addressed broader European current issues and their impact on the German cooperative banking sector. A particular focus was placed on banking sector regulations and their significance for local banks.

BVR represents approximately 150 million customers and around 850 independent cooperative banks in Germany. The association advocates for the interests of its member banks and their customers at both national and European levels.
