Bybit Adds Stocks and ETFs to Trading Platform
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has launched stock trading, giving eligible global users access to over 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. The move expands its multi-asset offering beyond digital assets.

Digital asset platform Bybit has introduced stock trading, allowing eligible users worldwide to trade more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). The expansion brings equities to Bybit's platform, which already supports digital assets and other traditional market instruments.
The new stock trading service enables users to buy and sell supported U.S. securities using USDC. This integration aims to provide a more unified trading experience, allowing users to manage both cryptocurrency and eligible stock positions within the same ecosystem. Bybit is partnering with U.S. broker-dealer Alpaca for order execution and custody of the underlying securities.
"Stocks are a key part of our evolution toward becoming a comprehensive financial platform," said Ben Zhou, Co-founder and CEO of Bybit. "We are breaking down barriers between traditional and digital markets, offering broader access to financial opportunities."
The service initially includes over 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, with fractional share trading available for eligible securities. Bybit highlighted that the offering provides direct economic exposure to the underlying assets. Trading is available five days a week, and no trading fees will be charged for the initial stock offerings.
This initiative builds on Bybit's strategy to expand its multi-asset capabilities. The company has previously introduced tokenized stocks and its MT5 platform, which provides access to traditional financial markets. Bybit aims to bridge the gap between the crypto and traditional finance sectors.
